Help Our Cause

We only take clean hardwood (maple, oak, poplar, beech, ash, elm, with leaves, etc.); We do not take rotten or punky wood, or trees with metal fencing or hardware embedded in the log.  We do not take softwoods of any kind. (Pine, hemlock, spruce,, with needles, etc.) ASH  BORER in your area may not allow us to take your logs.  Ask yourself:  "Would I pay the market price for the quality of this firewood?"  

If the equipment meets factory and OSHA safety standards and is in good running condition subject to inspection by leadership and it fills a need.

We always need help!  If you have a pickup you might tow a trailer full of wood.  If you are at least 18 years old, you can run splitters & saws with proper training and safety gear.   For less physical volunteers we need online and back-office volunteers.   We have something for everyone.  ALL volunteers must sign a liability waiver form.
